What  Is A Rotary Club?
Our club is a group of people who share a desire to help our community. By meeting and working together over the long term, we develop mutual trust and cooperation. This lets us act quickly when a need arises. We often interact with other community groups and community leaders, so that we are continually in touch with  North Rockland as a whole. There is no better way to turn your desire to help into ACTION.

A few examples
Last year our Club
Purchased and distributed hundreds of new, warm winter coats to kids in North Rockland schools who were in need of them.
Threw a party for developmentally delayed residents of group homes here in Rockland to relieve the tedium of group home life. Working together made even the most mundane tasks seem like fun, and seeing our guests enjoying the music and dancing was rewarding beyond description.
We also donated over $20,000 to various charitable and community organizations, including those which fight hunger and help those facing financial burdens due to illness. These efforts were funded in part by the Taste of North Rockland, a dinner event featuring a stupendous buffet contributed by more than 20 local restaurants.
We also have events which give us a chance to come together and socialize--our  Wine and Dine each spring, our  Installation Dinner in honor of our new club officers and our Holiday Party in December are highlights of the club year!
