Donations to St. Peter's Food Pantry and Philippines Relief

On the same day, a monetary donation was wired to the Philippine Red Cross Iloilo Chapter to aid Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) victims in the Provinces of Aklan, Capiz, and North Iloilo in Central Philippines (District 3850) where many lives and property were lost.

PDG Carole Tjoa was able to establish contact with Rotary Governor classmate Ramon Locsin, Red Cross chairman, whose home club Metro Iloilo is distributing food packages directly to survivors.

Thanks to International Service Director Gary Mower, who worked with Sterling Bank to facilitate the wire transfer.
